Hall of Fame
This page is dedicated to all the lovely dogs we have boarded and or trained. They are always very happy to stay with us and love the company Whiskey and Roxy give them. They have fun lounging about on the bed and couches or love playing ball, playing in the pool and or with the Swift Paws "bunny" chaser in the large fenced in area.
Lola
Lola is a sweet and kind Dachshund mix that was brought to us to expose her to other dogs but at a slow and more calm rate. She is about 3 years old and loves belly rubs and pets. She also loves to hang out and sunbathe. She mostly hangs out and watches everyone play while she gets hooman pets and love. She loves to go hiking, running and loves puzzles for treats! She will do just about anything for a treat. She does like to chase after the ball for fetch and will sprint after the ball as fast as her little legs can go! She has a little anxiety in new places but warmed up as soon as the meet and greet started. She was laying on her back, soft and gentle eyes and just hanging out like it was a home away from her home. We are excited you found us Lola and look forward to seeing more of you soon!
Ranger
Ranger is a 5 month old German Shepherd who we had the pleasure of boarding and training to work on his leash manners, separation anxiety, place, stay and wait cues! He is very smart and learns fast! He had some days here and there where he got to play with another couple pups and was super happy about that! We worked on distracting environments and high stimuli environments as well! Ranger loves to look at everything he can while on walks so we took things slow so he could get use to cars, trucks, bikes, people, kids and other dogs all at his own pace. Ranger loves to chase the ball and when he is done, he loves to snuggle up by out feet to rest. Ranger fell in love with our old man Whiskey and tried everything he could to butter Whiskey up. Whiskey was content with Ranger pawing and licking him and Ranger was so happy! He is so in love with everyone hooman he meets! We worked on jumping up on people and settling when someone comes in and how to redirect high energy behavior into something he loves like playing with a ball or playing tug or giving him a bully stick. Even though it was a board and train session, we got to have cake for Roxy's birthday and he got to play with some friends. We look forward to seeing you again soon for some fun!
Sunny
Sunny is a adorable goldendoodle we had the pleasure of training while she was here. She was here for 2 weeks working on her place, stay, wait, settle cues as well as loose leash walking and reactiveness outdoors. She caught on so quick with all the cues and learned to settle. Her favorite pass time in between training was getting belly rubs and loved to be brushed which she hated before. Sunny loved to chase the ball and play with friends. Sunny is a cuddle bug and also loves to just hang out and lay down with us. When we are all watching a movie, she will just chill in her place and relax. When hoomans came over, we worked on her jumping and her place cue and she did great! Even though she was in training with us, we spent time just having fun and enjoying each others company. We hope to see you again soon for some playtime!
Rowan
Rowan is a gorgeous German Shepherd, Great Pyrenees mix who loves to wrestle and play hard but is always considerate of the other dog and makes sure he matches their play style. He may be a little bit of a timid boy at first, but he warms up fast and loves all dogs. He listens to cues very well and loves attention. He gets a bit nervous when we leave for a second, but learns fast and knows he's in a safe place and everything is going to be okay. Rowan loves to play tug and play keep away from the other dogs. When it comes to toys, his favorite activity is to find a dog to help him rip it up from playing tug of war. He is not a fan of playing with actual tug toys, but absolutely loves the softer ones that explode! He loves to play chase and be chased by everyone! The more dogs playing chase with him, the more riled up he gets. Rowan is also very food motivated and will do anything for a tasty snack. We look forward to seeing you again soon bud!
Stella
Stella is a very adorable baby girl who just loves all the pets and attention. While she does like to play with other dogs when she feels up to it, she would rather put her whole body on us and lay down. Stella plays till she is content and plays like a little puppy. She loves to jump up and over other dogs and loves to run around. Stella loves to use her paws to play and she definitely loves to use her back legs to stand up and play. Her favorite season is the snow and loves to run through it. Stella also loves to squeak toys and run around with them in her mouth. She plays tug with Roxy and the other dogs that are over and loves to play keep away. She mostly has a calm demeanor when it comes to people but will curl right up next to us when she wants attention. If she doesn't get attention, she will look at us with her beautiful puppy dog eyes and ask for pets. We will see you again soon Stella girl!
Vanna
Vanna is a little baby. At just s few months old, she has stayed with us for 2 weeks and has grown accustomed to dog friends coming and leaving. She is a little nervous of new dogs at first but warms up to them very fast! Whenever she feels like she needs space, she always curls up next to Whiskey or settles under his chin. She knows Whiskey will be gentle with her and protect her. When she wants to relax but still, play, she snuggles up next to Roxy and they nibble on toys together. Vanna will only go outside if Whiskey and or Roxy go with her. It is very adorable. For how small Vanna is, she has a very big personality. When she wants to eat she will let us know. When she wants to go out, she lets us know and when she needs space from other dogs, she lets Whiskey know. We will be seeing you and your big personality again soon Vanna!
Addy
Addy is a little over a year old and has a lot of very playful energy! She loves to run zoomiez inside and outside the house! Roxy tries to keep up with her but Addy is like a race car! She zooms past us and it's like a flash of light! She loves to chase after balls and loves to play chase and be chased! She always has energy and loves to play games like "dance" and hide and seek! When Addy is wiped out from all the fun activities she does, she loves to curl up in her own space and take a 2 minute nap and is right back to playing with us! One of the main things we are working on with her is taking breathers, and while she has a lot of energy, sometimes she does settle down and relax. Small baby steps! She also loves to hop around when she runs and it is so adorable! We will see you soon Addy!
Coco
Cocoa is a sweet baby girl who is a bit skittish of people at first but will warm up to them with cheese and being slow with her. She loves pets and attention. She loves to play chase and run around in the snow! Cocoa is a lab, heeler mix and definitely has a lot of energy to burn. She loves to play fetch and run around the yard. She has a little bit of anxiety when it comes to new places and new dogs but does good if everyone takes things slow and rewards her with treats to build up her confidence! Sometimes she just likes to hang out and bask in the sun or snuggle with us when she is all tuckered out. Although this go around with you staying with us was short, we hope to see you again soon!
Hank
Hank is a mini Goldendoodle and absolutely loves to wrestle and play! His favorite activities are playing with other dogs, running, chasing the flirt pole and especially eating! Hank enjoys the company of Roxy and Whiskey and will settle by them when he wants to take a break. Hank is very food motivated and will do anything for a treat or a piece of kibble. We worked on settling and just relaxing when other dogs were playing. Hank knows social cues from other dogs very well and knows when it is appropriate to play or when he should give other dogs a break. He is very smart and learns fast. He does love to run around and jump into people's laps and snuggle at times when he is tired. When no one wants to play with him, he tries to play with the cats and politely tries to get their attention. Sometimes the cats will come up to him to check him out. When it is time for bed, he gives the biggest puppy dog eyes but goes into his crate by himself. He is a joy to have and we cannot wait to board you again soon!
Bowie
Bowie is a Golden Retriever who is obsessed with playing ball! He could play ball for hours and loves to chase it around and kick it. When he is done, Bowie loves to hang out with us and just relax. He is curious about cats and loves to follow them around. We did some training while he was with us because he has never seen cats before and he did very good with counter conditioning training! While Bowie loves to play with others, he does like to have nap time which we feel is his second favorite activity. Bowie loves to spend time just watching TV and falling asleep in the sun. Bowie loves food as well and will aim to please if there is food involved! We look forward to seeing you again and your fun self Bowie!
Vader
Vader is well known for his big, friendly personality in his deceiving giant "scary" body! He is such a cuddle bug and absolutely loves to play with any and all dogs. He listens very well and loves to cuddle when he is finished playing. Vader loves to chase the ball and wrestle with his friends but carefully plays with the smaller babies. Vader loves to please everyone. If we well him to come, he will come right to us, but of course being a little dramatic with his gallop towards us. He loves to do everything Whiskey and Roxy do including taking a nap in the sun when he is done playing. Vader is great when it comes to showing off his skills in group class! He knows all the cues very well and does them when he is here with us too, as long as there is a potential treat involved! We love having you Vader!
Millie
Millie is a very friendly and playful Sheepadoodle! She is a bit nervous at first with people but warmed up to us fast! Millie loves to wrestle and splash, yes, actually splash in the pools! She loves to sprint through the yard, back in the pool, tag her friends and then do it all over again! She reminded us of a little kid just having the best time of her life! Millie learned that not everything outside is scary. We worked with a lot of positive reinforcement when she would bark at a strange noise or when a person came through the door. She definitely started to feel better and more confident towards the end of her stay. Millie loves all dogs, but people and loud sounds can be scary, for anyone so we took things slow with her and she did great! When it was time for bed, she was a little sad she couldn't be around her friends and play more, but she was so tired, she fell asleep so fast and the next morning, she was energized and ready for play again! We can't wait to see you again Millie!
Rosa
Rosa is a adorable and very energetic Bichon mix who loves to play with Roxy and cuddle next to Whiskey. Rosa has learned that it is okay to sometimes just take a break and relax. Rosa loves to jump up on bigger dogs to get them to play with her and do zoomies around the yard! Her favorite thing to do is wrestle with Roxy though. They play hard and then take a break and then go back to playing. Rosa is not too much a fan of chasing the ball or playing with toys but absolutely enjoys playing with other dogs. She loves attention from people too. When Rosa is tired, she will snuggle up to us and take a little nap and then go back to playing with everyone. When Rosa knows it's time to leave for the day from daycare, she gets wound up for one last wrestle and zoomie session and says bye to all her friends. She enjoys coming to daycare and we love having her!
Ford
Ford is a shepherd mix whom we had the pleasure of training while he boarded with us! He learned so many new cues like wait, coming when called, stay, leave it, off, drop it, down, and more! When Ford was not in class, he would enjoy pool time, loving Roxy, trying to follow Whiskey's lead and of course chasing friends around the yard for playtime! Ford was a little shy at first of bigger dogs, but was able to feel more comfortable and at home since we were able to take things slow with him and to his comfort level. He was able to socialize with other dogs and different sounds and floor textures. Ford always had a busy day with us, whether it was learning something new, playing with friends, experiencing new things or even just taking a 5 second breather and then doing it all over again! He had a ton of mental and physical enrichment and was always exhausted at the end of the day. We can't wait to see you again Ford and have more fun!
Brodi
Brodi is a baby doodle and loved hanging out with everyone. He has zoomies and loved to chase the ball! Brodi loved hanging out with the smaller dogs and tried to play with a few of them and learned a lot about doggy social cues. Brodi was able to play with a small pup at times but loved to follow Roxy around and try to get her to play and kiss her and smother her with love. His idol was Whiskey and whatever Whiskey would do, Brodi would follow. If Whiskey laid down, Brodi had to be right by him. Brodi would walk up to the cats and try to get them to play but they would run up on their cat tower and watch him. Brodi got a lot of exercise and mental enrichment being around so many new dogs and people! He was able to live it up and play with the lure course and run around with some friends. We are excited to see you again soon Brodi!
Wesley
Wesley is a baby cavapoo who is a bit nervous around dogs but warmed up to Whiskey and Roxy very fast! He would always follow them around and make sure that they are in his sights. Wesley came out of his shell a couple days later and was able to initiate play with other dogs even! He would run back to us but then try to play again! His confidence definitely boosted being around other dogs and new people. After Wesley played to his hearts content, he snuggled up to us and would chill and watch TV. Wesley would love to try and sleep on our bed at night when it came to bed time and his puppy dog eyes almost worked! Wesley is a very lovable dog and always wants to be around people and Roxy. His favorite hobbies are kissing Roxy, laying at our feet, cuddling us and trying to make Roxy his girlfriend! He was very infatuated with Roxy and Roxy didn't mind at all. We loved having Wesley around and cant wait to see him again soon!
Remy
Remy is a young German Shorthair Pointer that loves to play and has a ton of energy to burn! He loves to play chase with the ball and the swift paws machine to chase the lure. Remy loves people and loves to say hi to them and snuggle up next to them when he has had his fill of fun. When Remy is done with his 10 minute recoop session, he is right back to playing again! He loves the outdoors and loves to play with other dogs, small or big. He may not know his own body size but is good with playing with dogs of all sizes. Remy has a little bit of separation anxiety and gets a bit nervous in new environments alone so we spent some time with a bit of crate training to make sure he would be comfortable when he stayed here. When Remy saw treats, he would be so excited and do multiple tricks at once just to show off a little. It would be so cute! We look forward to seeing you again soon buddy!
Billy
Billy is a husky, pit bull, chow chow puppy who loves to talk and loves treats! He will do anything for a little bit of food! Billy loves to play and pretend his size is no obstacle when playing with the bigger pups! Billy can run for hours on end and then take a short nap and be up again running! He loves to spend time outside in the sun and sometimes he does love to just hang out. When he sees Whiskey sniffing around, laying down or moving, Billy will follow Whiskey's every move. Billy got to experience a little kiddie sprinkler/pool while here and he was so fascinated by it and kept trying to "catch" the water just like Whiskey! Billy loves to play chase with the ball too! He loves to run after them and loves to run after the Swift Paws toy skunk! As you can tell, he loves to run! Whenever we would call him back, he would leap up and sprint as fast as he could towards us for love (and of course treats)! We look forward to seeing you again soon Billy!
Maverick
Maverick is a 9 month old Aussiedoodle who loves attention and loves to relax if everyone else is relaxing. He is a calmer pup but does love to play chase if he feels like it! He will bark while he runs and chases after everyone and enjoys it so much! Maverick's voluminous hair bounces with him while he prances and chases dogs around! He loves company while he eats and loves to just lay on the cool concrete or indoor floors. He loves pets and side scratches! He loves treats and would sit for a few seconds for picture with some delicious treats in hand! He gets a little lonely so he loves to make sure we are always around to keep an eye on him. He absolutely adores Roxy and licks her face and rests next to her and follows her around like a little lost puppy, learning the adult ways in life and what to do. Maverick loves to just hand out and watch TV sometimes too! He is so calm when he is inside and so well behaved with the cats. He tries to investigate them, but he scares them a little. Maverick is so gentle and very aware of personal space when it comes to the cats and other dogs. He knows doggy social cues very well and knows when it is okay to cuddle, play or take a break. He loves to sniff everything and learn new things. Maverick loves when we use treats to redirect him and loves pets for a reward as well. We are so happy you came to us and look forward to boarding you again in the near future Maverick!
Dottie
Dottie is an adorable Australian Shepherd/cattle dog mix who has a little bit of anxiety. We took things very slow with her and gave her lots of treats! By the time the pools AND treats came out, she was her happy go lucky self! She would jump into our laps asking for attention, play in the pools; jumping in and out of them and just enjoy being outside! She would love to be pet on her sides and just have her own space unless she came up to us asking for treats or love. She would stay close to our side and loved to make sure we were around to keep an eye on her. Dottie will do anything for a treat! She knows cues and it helps redirect her from being anxious and scared. Dottie loves to sometimes just relax on the couch and watch the other dogs run around until she feels comfortable about exploring too. She would mostly just keep to herself and her fun pools, but once in awhile, she would go up to the other dogs and sniff them. We look forward to seeing you again soon Dottie!
Reiner
Reiner is a 5 month old puppy who has a ton of energy! He loves to run around, chase the ball, wrestle with dogs and absolutely loves food! He listens very well to his name and always looks up when we call him! He absolutely loves people and always wants to be by them when pets are given. He will nudge our hands for attention and love. But his most favorite pass time is to just run as fast as he can around the yard! Some dogs will get tired before he does and they will watch him run back and forth from one side of the yard to the other. When he is finally worn out, he zonks out very fast for a little and then its back to zoomies again and wrestling with the other dogs! Reiner loves to be outside and just enjoy sunbathing when he is tired. When it is time for lunch, he inhales all his food as to not miss a second playing with everyone else! Next time when you come and it's not too hot, we will put out the capture the flag game for you!! We look forward to seeing you again soon!!
Koda
Koda is an adorable year old Shiba Inu who we had the pleasure of training and boarding! He learned place, coming when called, drop it, leave it, and a bit of basic manners! He is a very smart pup and definitely loves food! He will do just about anything for chicken and treats! He loooves to snuggle and get pets, on his own terms. He loves to play tug of war with Roxy and always nudged her face with his like a cat. He would nudge his face on our legs and body like a cat too! He is a very affectionate boy! He is such a fast learner and the best way to train him (or any other dog) was through positive reinforcement! He was a little skittish with loud sounds and if something fell, but always was reassured by treats and pets, telling him everything was okay! He loves to run after squirrels and play chase with Roxy! Wherever Roxy went, he would go. But with Whiskey, it was more learning to be a "man"! He would follow Whiskey around and sniff the things he sniffed, lay down where Whiskey laid down and go to his place like Whiskey! It was such a pleasure to help with your training Koda! We look forward to seeing you soon for some play days!
Phoebe
Phoebe is a adorable little frenchie and she loves to play with the bigger doggos! She loves to jump on them and wrestle with them like she's just as big as they are! Despite her size and little legs, she can run like the wind! She loves to run and play chase too! Her smile is to die for too! You can alway tell when she is happy and having a good time! Her little snorts are a way to tell when she needs a break or just having a ball! She came here for a few days and her doodle boyfriend came too and we had another pup and she loved to play with all of them and run around! Phoebe loves to chase balls and hold them in her mouth. She will try to hold onto a little edge of the ball and carry it around in her mouth until she drops it and wants you to throw it again! Phoebe has a lot of energy, but when it is all spent, she takes a nap hard and loves to cuddle up in the bed and around everyone. Phoebe also loves attention and pets! She will nudge her head on our hands asking for love and as many pets as she can before going to go play with everyone again! We will see you again soon Phoebe!
Archie
Archie is a calm and collective sheepdog! He loves to just relax and sunbathe. If he feels up to it, he will love to play chase and run around though! He matches other dogs' energies very well. If they are relaxed, he will just relax with them, but if they want to play, he will act like a puppy and prance and play with them! He loves to play with smaller dogs and was so into one of the smaller ones we had at the time! Aside from following Roxy around, he would follow the other little one around and always loved to be by her When all the pups have been worn out from play he will just lay on the concrete and lay by Whiskey. He loves the cooler temperatures and to lay on the cool concrete and relax. When it is time to come inside, he loves to just sunbathe in the living room and then move to the cooler kitchen area. Archie mostly likes to keep to himself but loves his booty scratches and ear scratches! Archie is very food motivated and loves to carry his pig ear in his mouth to savor it. He will do anything for a tasty treat though and eats it up so fast but takes the treat so gently. He was curious about what we were always doing and loved to spend time just watching a movie with us. We were so happy uou found us and look forward to watching you again soon bud!!
Phoebe
Phoebe is an adorable bernidoodle that loves to play and wrestle! She loves to make friends and enjoys the company of Whiskey in case she needs a little break once in awhile from another dog. She will let Whiskey know she is tired and he will calm everyone down for a little. She loves Roxy and loves to learn from her. She would follow Roxy and sniff the same things, go potty in the same places, lay down next to Roxy and just do everything Roxy did! Phoebe loves to snuggle and will burrow her head in the blankets by us to get closer to us. She loves to chase the ball but doesn't completely understand to bring it all the way back yet. She lets the other doggos do the hard work and bring it back for her. When it is time to eat, Phoebe gets to excited and jumps around but patiently waits for her food until she is released to eat it. Phoebe is very friendly with all dogs and people and loves to say hi to everyone if she can! She will give us arm hugs with her paws and plop her face right in our hands. She is very strong too so we just sit and let her do as she wants. She is strong willed and what she wants, she most of the time gets. When it is time for bed, she curls up next to us and lays down for a brief moment, but then it is back to playing with everyone else! We look forward to seeing you again soon!!
Figment
Figment is an adorable standard poodle with energy like the energizer bunny! She even loves to put her front paws in the air and hop on her back feet when she loves to play! Her favorite games are chasing the tennis ball, chasing the soccer ball and wrestling around! She loves to hop off little ledges when she runs and likes to "fly"! When she feels tired after hours of playing, she loves to sleep through "boring" movies such as Star Wars. Her favorite treats are duck and rabbit! Fig makes friends very easily and loves to put her paw on other dogs for attention and her way of showing them she loves them. Fig knows a lot of cues such as wait and leave it which helps when she needs to take a little breather from playing. She is very smart and knows boundaries and when other dogs do need a breather too. She loves to play by herself and entertain herself with squeaky toys if everyone else is too tired to play. She will always have a squeaker ball in her mouth and run around with it and sometimes, she will let us throw it! So cute! We look forward to seeing you again soon!!
Grahame and Harbin
Harbin and Grahame are sweet labs that love to cuddle and or play! Grahame will wander around and loves to sniff while Harbin loves to chase the ball and jump around with everyone else. They are a bunch of love bugs and love pets and cuddles. Harbin loves to watch the cats and Grahame loves to sunbathe. They both have individual likings but are similar in some ways like wanting all the love! Grahame loves to go through our legs and do the "doggy car wash" as his mom likes to call it! Grahame is a little older so he mostly loves to relax and loves to be vocal with things while Harbin just follows what Grahame does. They both come right away and with smiles on their faces! Grahame would hang out with Whiskey and lounge about while Harbin would play with the other pups we had. They were only with us for a short while but they were such good babies! We look forward to seeing you guys soon!
Emerson
Emerson is a little bernadoodle and a very friendly one at that! She loves to play chase, follow everyone around and looooves pets! She is very food motivated and loves to eat, next to attention. Emerson loves to pounce on others and wrestle with them if they let her! She enjoys being loved on by people when she has had enough play time and will nudge us with her nose and then lay in our hand for face rubs. She is very curious about the cats and always loved to go up to them and smell them. She knows a lot of basic cues such as sit and drop it. Emerson loved to copy what everyone else was doing. If Whiskey was digging to get a ball out of the snow, she would try to do the same. If Roxy was running after a ball, she would run too, but not pick up the ball. If another dog would smell something, she would instantly go up and smell the item too. She is a very fast learner and very smart! She never passes up a chance to get food and will do anything she can to have some! Even though we spent a short time with her, we enjoyed her company a lot! We look forward to seeing you again soon Emerson!!
Dudley
Dudley is a lovable doodle who loves his chin scratches and his butt scratches. He is very playful and loves to wrestle and play chase. He loves to run after dogs while they are chasing the ball. He doesn't like to grab the ball but his favorite thing is just running with everyone else while they go for the ball. Dudley loves to try to play with the cats and run up to them. He is very good about backing away when they tell him no but he is persistent and wants to be friends with everyone! Dudley is very food motivated and will do anything for treats and pets! He will sit for the longest time until he gets a treat and will be so happy about just sitting and waiting till we get the right picture of him. Dudley loves squeaker toys and loves to run with them too so that everyone knows he has one and Dudley wants the other dogs to chase him! When it is time to rest, he will fall asleep in our laps and is just happy to get chin scratches or head pets. Dudley will do anything to please us. He knows his recall cues and leave it cues very well. He knows when it is time to relax and when everyone else is tired too. He is such a good boy and we cannot wait to see you again soon!
Trout
Trout is a 5 month old Golden Retriever and is just a doll! He loves to wrestle, play catch with tennis balls, play tug-of-war, snuggle and chew on bully sticks! He looooves food and is very treat motivated! He did so well with coming when called, drop it, leave it, stay and sit! Trout loved to play with the other doodle puppy we had at the time and the older doodle and mini aussie we had for daycare! Trout did so good with everyone and absolutely adored Roxy! He would play tug-of-war with her, kiss her, snuggle with her and follow her around. Trout is all about making friends and loves everyone! When he was with us, he got to play lots of fetch and even have some of Roxy's pup birthday cake! He did so well with pictures and is not camera shy at all. He loves to pose and smile for the camera! When he was tired of playing, he would lay his head down on us or Roxy and fall asleep for a few minutes, then was right back up to play with everyone again! Trout loves squeaky toys and even though he would rip them up, we had plenty more for him to play with and try to get the squeaker out of them! He was all around a happy, go lucky pup! Kylo
Kylo is a very anxious puppy and is not a fan of new people but warmed up to us right away! He loves all dogs but when he sees other people, he gets nervous around them but is the sweetest puppy ever! When Kylo first came to us, he was a timid and scared puppy from a rescue. We knew he was just scared and needed time to warm up to everyone slowly and at his own pace. We gave him his space and lots of treats! By the time he was dropped off for boarding, he was nudging his nose on our leg asking for attention and love and pets! He would lay next to us and greet us with open "arms" when we had to go out for an errand really quick! Kylo made a bunch of doggy friends and one he was very attached to. Kylo loves to play and hug other dogs. They would play non stop and run around like little human toddlers with not a care in the world! When Kylo got tired, he would come up to one of us and put his head on our legs and fall asleep. All he needed from us was trust and love. Whiskey would watch him like a hawk to make sure all the other dogs were being nice to him. Whiskey knew Kylo loved to play but would get scared if there was too much rough play. Whiskey would tell everyone to take it down a couple notches to make sure Kylo was safe around everyone, like Kylo was Whiskey's baby. We are so happy you are part of our family Kylo! Goose
Goose is a very cuddly and mellow puppy until you bring out the tennis balls! Which are his ultimate favorite! He could run for hours and play with them and chase after them! He was a little timid at first with us but once we showed him love and treats and tennis balls, he was all for it! He loved to cuddle after chasing the ball around the yard and burry his nose under the covers. His favorite time. He would make sure he was next to Roxy when cuddling or close by. They could relax next to each other all day if they could! Goose would also get extremely excited for treat games and smiling for pictures! He would bark and jump for joy and do his little down and up and circle dance! Goose was so curious about the cats and he would very nicely walk up to them to say hi but he would mostly keep his distance as he was a bit timid of them too but was definitely interested. We look forward to seeing you very soon Goose! We are so glad you had to much fun!
Ember
Ember is a Australian Shepherd and one of our tiny babies we love to watch! She is full of energy and loves to play. Even though she is small, she loves to play with the big dogs and loves to play chase with them! She learns a lot from what Whiskey and Roxy do and try to copy their playing methods. She loves to run around the yard and do sprints back and forth. One of her favorite things to do is play with the big ball that Whiskey plays with and tries to put it in her mouth too! Ember is such a happy camper and will rest for about 5 minutes and then get up and go again! She loves to investigate the cats and see what they are up to as well! She loves to give them kisses and follow them around. Once in awhile she will cuddle and or sit pretty for a picture, but her little heart desires play all the time! We look forward to seeing you again soon Ember!
Winnie
Winnie is a lab mix who is very well trained and loves to play. She knows many cues and is very smart. Even though Winnie was with us for a short time, she definitely warmed up to everyone fast and was part of the ComPAWssionate Canines "pack." She is very cuddly and loves to boop us with her nose to get attention. She loves to be by our side and lay on us. One of her favorite things to do is to play ball! We could be outside for hours and she would never get tired of playing ball. Winnie loves to also roll around in the snow and lay in it. She and Roxy will be rolling in the snow next to each other and then get up to chase one another! Winnie loved the cats too and just loved to stare and adore them. She was curious about them and never chased them. When Winnie wanted to go to bed, she would go to her crate and fall asleep fast. She would play so hard during the day and loved all the attention! We will see you again and hopefully soon Winnie!
Pepper
Pepper was with us for just a few days but definitely shined her true colors just under an hour with us! We had a full house and she loves rough housing and playing chase! Pepper is a sweet doodle and all the play on the world won’t slow this ambitious girl down! Pepper’s favorite thing to do is to jump! She loves jumping over dogs, leaping as far as she can while playing, even jumping on top of her crate! She was away from her older sister for the time being but she did great and made friends so fast! Pepper also loved to play fetch and chase after everyone who would run for the ball. She never picked one up but she loved to sprint after it! When it was time to settle, she would curl up next to us and fall asleep hard and fast. She definitely made herself at home! When she got picked up, you could tell she told her sister of the fun vacation she had herself! We will miss you Pepper and will see you again soon!
Apollo
Apollo came to us for a board and train. He was a little scared of Whiskey because of his past experience with a different German Shepherd. As soon as he knew Whiskey was there for him, Apollo followed Whiskey everywhere and did everything with Whiskey. Apollo would sniff where Whiskey sniffed and would lay down by Whiskey. Apollo is a smart boy! While with us, Apollo learned leave it, down, stay, wait, impulse control, place and so much more! He learned to share treats with Whiskey and Roxy and learned that not all dogs are mean and some are fun and chill. Apollo learned the meaning of "gentle" too and to take treats nicely. While with us, Apollo would be on the move all the time and it was great for training. When training was done, he knew he could relax and take a break but would only take a short nap and then he was ready to get up and learn again! Apollo was so sweet and smart! He was so excited to learn something new. Apollo would test us to make sure we were focusing on him at all times and making sure we were watching him, otherwise he would try to sneak treats or leaves! Later on in his course, we were able to teach him leaves were not edible and that "leave it" means "leave it". We hope that the schooling you did with us taught you valuable and helpful lessons! You're going to grow up so well Apollo and we cannot wait to see what you have done with your new skills!
Pachi & Wheeler
Wheeler and Pachi are a couple of goofball labs. Wheeler loves to play ball and chew on anything outside and run with it to get other pups to chase him. Wheeler loves to always be up and about and making sure everything was sniffed and looked at and played with. He loved to get Roxy's attention by showing them the ginormous sticks he would break off trees and running up to her and then running away. He was always playing or chewing on sticks. Once he needed to come inside, he would snuggle between our legs and fall asleep, just putting his head up on our stomach. He was such a cuddle bug! Pachi would love to play with Wheeler but mostly stick by Whiskey's side, watching everyone play, making sure they were doing okay and not playing too rough. Pachi has a bit of anxiety so he would bark at every little sound but would be so happy to come back to us when we called out to him to tell him everything was okay and he would get a treat. He was definitely more comfortable if Whiskey was around him when he was outside. The two got along great! Pachi would follow everything Whiskey would do and it was like they were both a couple of old human men just hanging out on the porch drinking some ice tea! They were so cute! We will miss you two and hope to see you guys again soon!
Luna
Luna is a timid and shy 4 year old who loves to play when it comes to nice and gentle dogs and tennis balls! She warms up very fast and loves to play once she knows the other dog(s). Her favorite things to do are tug, having others chase her! She loves to be by our side for nap time and curl up next to us. She loved that Whiskey was always around to protect her if other dogs were too rough with her. Once play time was over, she would take a nap by Roxy. Luna has never made friends with cats, but our cats greeted her with open arms! One of our cats is named Luna and both of them loved each others' company! Luna (dog) would always walk behind Luna (cat) and would follow her everywhere. So curious about everything! Luna loves people and loves to jump up to greet us when we would come home from a 20 min errand. One of Luna'f favorite memories here will be capture the flag! She was all about getting the flag and could run around with it for hours if we would have let her! Once it was time to go, she laid down just looked at us with sad eyes, like she knew she would be leaving all her friends and her home away from home! We will see you again soon Luna! Everyone misses you already!
Storm
Storm is a beautiful and gentle Goldendoodle. She loves to run around and chase ball but she also loves to snuggle up next to you to watch a movie. Storm loves to play in the pool and play with the water and all the tennis balls in the pool she drops in herself. She loves to jump up on your arms for a hug and give you a sweet kiss. Storm knows her name very well and does recall on the dime! When Storm is across the yard playing or lingering around, if we tell her to come, she has the happiest face when she runs up to us and sits right at our feet. Storm loves to run around with Roxy and they play chase in the yard constantly! When she is inside, she is a whole different being. She is calm, collected and will lay at our feet and just smile at us for attention. She loves to be pet consistently and will nudge us with her nose if we stop petting her. She loves the company of our cats and knows not to chase them and that they are her friends. We cannot wait to have you come back Storm! We miss you already!
Turtle
Turtle is a year old Bernedoodle. He is very well behaved and loves to relax. When he feels up to it, he loves to run around, playing chase with the other dogs with us. He makes friends very fast and although he was shy at first with Whiskey and Roxy, he warmed up to them quickly and even loved Whiskey chasing him! He loved to mostly relax and get pets from us. Turtle will do anything for a treat and loves salmon and lamb flavor anything! Turtle made himself at home very fast and loved the bathroom floor because it was cool and relaxing after a long day of play. Turtle's mom informed us that he loves water and loves to play with the hose. When he comes back, we will be setting out the pools out for him to play in and he will have a blast! He was so happy to stay with us, even if it was for just a day, and will be back soon! We can't wait Turtle!
Gus
Gus is a 3 month old Labradoodle that loves to be around Roxy, his new love of his life and his new big brother Whiskey! He is a fast learner and while with us he learned down, off, stay, recall, leave it, wait, the command "go potty", drop it, high five, high ten, paw, other paw and more! He is such a smart pupil and he's going to accomplish so much! He was with us for upkeep training and did so well! He is very food motivative but is picky with his treats. We got special treats for him and he was thrilled! He loved the freeze dried beef liver treats we offered him for all his training and tricks! Gus was a little skittish at first around Whiskey and Roxy because he was not use to other big dogs being in his area, but he warmed up to them almost immediately! He fell in love with Roxy; always kissing her and laying beside her and when he was not loving her, he would follow Whiskey around and do everything Whiskey did. If Whiskey sniffed a tree, he would sniff next. If Whiskey was checking out another dog, he would check out the other dog too. Whiskey gave Gus the confidence he needed to be a real "man"! When it was time to go, he gave Whiskey and Roxy a farewell kiss and they were so sad to see him go, but we will see you again very soon Gus! Keep up the good work and stay PAWsitive!
Ranger
Ranger is a timid pup but with the right love and care from us, she warmed up quite fast with everyone! She walked into our place with hesitation but in a few moments, she was her perky self! She completely changed with her attitude towards us when she came to stay! She greeted us with open "paws" and loved playing with Whiskey and the other dogs that were here! She loved to run around and play fetch with everyone. Ranger was not a fan of the pools but loved the hose and loved to play in the water dripping from the hose. Ranger loves to be next to us when she wants to cool down but then is right back up to keep playing with everyone! Ranger made herself right at home and knew where to go to bed right away when she followed everyone else for bed. She would try to sneak into her friends kennel at night because they got along so well and gave us puppy dog eyes so she could sleep with her bff! Ranger was great with everyone and we look forward to seeing you again very soon girly!
Cabo & Truffles
Cabo and Truffles are a pair of Goldendoodles that love to come for daycare and have fun! Cabo loves the pool and lays in it just like Whiskey. They both love to play ball and love to wrestle with each other. If Truffles is tired, he loves to lay on the cots outside while his older brother Cabo, loves to keep chasing the ball and playing in the pool till his heart's content. Truffles and Cabo are a fun bunch of brothers. Cabo has a goofy side to him even though he looks serious and is the older brother while Truffles can be calm most of the time, but if he sees us, and recognizes us, he jumps up for joy and always wants hugs! Truffles loves to play with Whiskey and follow Whiskey around while Cabo just loves to play ball and chill in the pool. Cabo is great at "sit" and "stay" while we take glamorous pictures of him! Truffles is just so excited for the treat but knows "sit" very well. We love doing daycare for you both and look forward for you guys staying with us for a longer period of time coning up!!
Enzo
Enzo is such a sweet Chihuahua mix and so calm. He has a medical problem that we were gladly able to accommodate to when he stayed with us. He was nervous at first, but he warmed up to everyone very quickly! He loved to play with Whiskey and even though he is small, he loved to pretend he is a bigger dog and loved to tussle with Whiskey! Enzo loved to put his head under the blankets and cuddle with us when it was time to go to bed. He and Roxy would share cuddles with one another and crawl under the covers with each other. Enzo loved attention and whenever he was not getting enough attention, he would nudge our hand to pet him again. Enzo loved to explore the yard with Whiskey and made sure to follow in Whiskey's footsteps where ever Whiskey went, but when it came to bed time, he would follow Roxy and make sure they got the best spots on the bed. We cannot wait to get some more snuggles with you again very soon Enzo!!
Cooper
Cooper is a labradoodle puppy that loves to play and explore! He knows his boundaries and limits as he is very well trained. We did some upkeep training with Cooper like recall and "down" and he caught on very fast! We gave treats all the time so he has much incentive to go off of. He would follow what Whiskey and Roxy would do when spoken the command and caught on fast! Cooper would love to play with Whiskey and stick by his side like glue. If Whiskey drank water, so did Cooper. If Whiskey laid down, so did Cooper. Whiskey was showing Cooper the ways of how to be a great canine! Cooper has great potential with his smarts and learning abilities! He is very attached to people and loves snuggles and kisses. Cooper would put his paw on you asking for attention and if he still didn't get your attention, he would nudge his nose under your hand. He is so adorable! He has a couple human siblings at home and he is so gentle with them. His human sister told him a couple commands and he listened very well and took the treat from her so gently. We hope to have your high energy and smarts around here again soon Cooper!
Chambeau
Chambeau is an adorable mini goldendoodle! We boarded him when he had a slight knee disability, but that did not stop him from having the zoomies and playing with Roxy and the other pup at the time! We would take multiple breaks and cool down in the pool. Chambeau has a lively and energetic attitude that any puppy would have and his knee did not stop him from doing what he loved most; cuddling and climbing on us for attention! Chambeau has 2 human siblings and we could tell how much he loves to give them hugs! He would stand up on his back legs and hold onto our leg and that was the most adorable thing ever! Chambeau loves the water. He would play in the sprinkler part of the slip and slide in our neighbors back yard and would cool down on the cool patio. Chambeau was more into playing than eating so we encouraged him to eat with some puppy lamb sprinkles and he would inhale all his food right up and then take a nap. He had so much fun and we cannot wait to see you soon!
Beau
Beau is a very outgoing and playful bernedoodle! He loves to wrestle with Whiskey and loves to play very gently with smaller dogs. If he could play all day long he would! He loves the hose when it sprays water and the sprinklers in the morning but not a fan of pools. Beau can make friends wherever he goes, no matter if the dog is shy or standoff-ish; he knows to butter them up with his kindness and his charm! When he is not playing, he is right by our side, asking for love and attention. He will sit right by us when we don't even ask him to come and he loves to lay on the cool kitchen floor. Beau has a deep loud bark but all he wants to do is say hi to everyone and be everyone's friend. He does not have a mean bone in his body! Although at times he can be a little stubborn, he knows his basic commands very well. For his size, he knows to be gentle with smaller dogs and he can play evenly with bigger dogs his size. He is such a great dog and we cannot wait for you to stay with us again soon!
Tito
Tito is a Wheaton Terrier poodle mix with lots of energy but lots of affection! He would play with Roxy and the other doodle we boarded at the time and wrestle with everyone. His favorite play time activity was the pool. He would grab a popped tennis ball, wait till it sunk and then play with it in the pool, trying to get it back up to the surface. He would splash the water everywhere and Whiskey would join in on the fun with the water! He and Whiskey were kings of the pool! He would get the zoomies when everyone would chase the ball and he would be doing his own laps around the yard. When it was time for naps, he would jump up on our bed and snuggle next to everyone and lay very still, as not to disturb anyone. When Whiskey and Roxy would wake up, he would follow them and I outside to play some more. He had a tendency to jump up but only to give you kisses and hugs. If you stop petting him, he will nudge your hand or arm with his nose, asking for more pets just like how he saw Roxy. He is such a fast learner! We cannot wait to see you again Tito!!
Misa & Mello
Misa and Mello are a couple of mini Australian Shepherds and they are such a blast to be around! Misa loves the pool when it gets hot while Mello loves to sit on our lap and watch. They were both nervous of us at first and Mello was not use to men, but once the treats were brought out, they knew we were there for them and we were all friends in a matter of minutes! Misa and Mello love to run around in the yard and chase one another and wrestle. Roxy has the biggest crush on Mello and Roxy and Mello would play for hours in the yard, sniffing and chasing one another. Misa loved to play ball so when Roxy and Mello were doing their own thing, Whiskey and Mello would chase the ball. Misa and Mello loved attention and loved to be in our lap. They would jump up and give us a bunch of kisses and affection like we have known them since they were born! We look forward to seeing you both again soon and get more kisses and cuddles too!
Lucy
Lucy is a friendly and cuddly labradoodle. She loves to hang out in the sun and follow Roxy around; like she knew Roxy is a labradoodle too! She would do everything Roxy would do and would try to keep up with Roxy while chasing balls. Lucy is very well trained for how young she is and definitely has a calmer manner but she will play for a little if she feels up for it. Her favorite game was to chase balls if Roxy went to chase them. Lucy would not pick up a ball, but would let Roxy grab them and bring them back like a fun chase game. Lucy did would greet strangers with love and affection and would rarely jump up due to her extensive training. She was great playing with everyone and we cannot wait to board her again soon!
Bode
Bode is such a gentle giant. He is a Great Pyrenees mix and he is so goofy and cute! He is a little over a year old and loves to play. He loves to wrestle and roll around in the grass. He is a shy around new people, but once he got to playing with everyone, he was the happiest dog and so outgoing! Bode loves the pool and step in and out of it and then rest under the shade. He reminds us of Arcanine, the Pokémon! Fierce but also such a kind and loving spirit. Bode does not realize he has such a big body and will jump up and want to love you but he is so gentle about it. His big paws cover your arms and its like a great bear hug! Although he was with us for such a short time, it felt like he knew us from the beginning from how much he opened up to us. We will miss you and cannot wait to see you again!!
Amy
Amy is an adorable cockapoo who came to us as a fresh puppy who needed a little bit of training. We worked on sit, stay, wait, lay down, off and many more skills! Amy was extremely shy at first. She only loved to be around humans and she was scared of Whiskey because of his size. We slowly introduced everyone and by the second time she came over, she was happy to be around Whiskey and Roxy! Amy would snuggle up next to Whiskey and we would watch movies after training. We introduced her to the pool and then played in the pool a little on hot days. She was nervous about a big body of water but learned it is a fun place to play! She would hop over the side and paw at the water and show Whiskey what she could do. Amy would always try to show off her new skills to Whiskey and Roxy. Amy would bark at squirrels in the yard and pretend she was the bigger dog, but Whiskey would come over to make sure she was okay and she would calm down and stop barking. There is so much to say about how much Amy has improved and we cannot wait to continue training with her!!
Toby and Luci
Toby is a older Labradoodle but acts like a puppy and Luci is a younger German Shepherd but so well behaved! They each had a taste of what another family of a labradoodle and german shepherd were like! Toby would hang out with Roxy and Luci would hang out with Whiskey like they both knew they had friends that were like them! It was so much fun hosting the 2! They would play with one another and then hang out with everyone like they had their own little unique pack. Luci was very much like Roxy on how they both loved attention and hugs and cuddles while Toby and Whiskey would be the wiser men who would watch the girls get pampered. It was so adorable! Toby and Luci love to play ball and run around when it's not too hot out. They were a little shy at first but as soon as they knew Whiskey and Roxy were friends, they showed their true fun colors! We look forward to watching you both soon!
Addie
Even though we had Addie for just a short while, she was fun to board and accompany everyone! She is such a friendly dog and loves everyone! She is a very fun doodle to be around. Addie loves fetch, cuddles, running around and most of all, loves to just be by your side! She was thrilled to be playing with Ripley, the husky we board on occasion and loves to wrestle with Roxy too. Addie loves to hang out outside in the fresh air under the shade but when playing, she loved to run back and fourth from one end of the yard to the other end of the yard when she got the "zoomies"! She is a high energy puppy but trained pretty well for her age! Addie is such a joy to be around and we cannot wait to board her again in the future!
Piper and Mindy
Piper and Mindy are King Charles Cocker Spaniels. Mindy is 9 and Piper is 1. Mindy is deaf and debarked from her pervious owners but still loves people and gives unconditional love! She is sweet and always wants you to hold her and pick her up. She loves to relax next you and watch everyone play. She is a calm baby but she is just the sweetest! Piper gets scared but was able to warm up to Whiskey and Roxy and the other dog we boarded at the time, very fast! She loves to be by your side but also loves to play with everyone else! Piper loves to play with people once she gets use to them and her favorite game is fetch and tug-of-war! She always has her eye on Mindy like the loving sister she is. They are one of the best bunches of siblings we have boarded! They have similar but also somewhat different personalities but that is what makes them the best of siblings! They both get along with all dogs and we cannot wait to board them next time!
Rhea & Remo
Rhea is a year old mastiff mix and her brother is a 14 year old Beagle. Rhea loves to play and chase the tennis ball around and chew on sticks. She is always so happy to be around fur friends like Whiskey and Roxy, Rhea will follow Whiskey around and figure out what he is doing and try to copy it. She is a ball of energy but also fun! She is very submissive and knows her place when it comes to other dogs, but guards the perimeter and tries to act as tough as Whiskey! Remo is a calm Beagle that just loves to live out his glory days. Although he is 14, he does not show it as he loves to try and run with his sister to play. His joints are a little like an older gentleman so we encourage him to relax, but he is a fun stubborn old man that does not like to be told he is too old to do things anymore. He loves to roam around and explore just as much as his sister Rhea. We cant wait to board you both again soon!
Dudley and Wallace
Dudley is a year old pug and Wallace is a 5 year old shepherd mix that are the best brothers! They love to play with one another and with Whiskey and Roxy. Dudley will be the instigator to play and Wallace will chase him around but Dudley loves it. Wallace is so gentle with Dudley and kind. When Dudley is tired, Wallace knows his name very well and we can call him and tell him to give Dudley a break. They both love pets and cuddles; especially Wallace. He will jump up up with joy until you start petting him and give him attention, then Dudley will run around until his hearts content. Dudley loves to explore and try new things while the great big brother that Wallace is, watches Dudley to make sure he is okay but will stay by your side. They have different personalities, but that's what makes them the best of brothers! We cannot wait to watch both of you again soon! Happy trails!
Buddy
Buddy is a fun and loving doodle! He loves cuddles attention! He was a bit nervous at first but warmed up very fast to everyone! Buddy is your buddy for sure once he gets to know you! Very obedient and knows his name very well. We worked on kennel training and by the second night, he walked right into his kennel with the command "kennel". Buddy is a fast learner and loves treats with learning. He is easily convinced to do something one we bring the treat bag out! He loves to play fetch and run around with Roxy and take turns playing chase. Buddy is very hyper so we exercise him often to make sure he can get all his puppy zoomies out! By the end of the day, he is as calm as can be and zonks out for bed. We are excited to be seeing you again soon Buddy!
Baxter
Baxter is a 6 year old lab/ hound rescue. He is a bit anxious at first but warms up fast with confidence and so outgoing! He loves to hang out and lay around with the cats but also loves to play with Whiskey and Roxy. He is such a calm and well behaved baby. He knows his name very well and does recall excellent! Once acquainted with everyone, he would come up to us for pets and love. He loves his blanket and kennel and could be in his kennel all day if he could! He has a little anxiety when it comes to new things such as new people and dogs, but he is great once he is around them for a day or so. He has a fear of water and loud noises but I know, in due time, he will be running through the sprinklers to come say hi again to Whiskey and Roxy for another stay!
Wilbur
Wilbur is a year old Pit Bull mix. He is very submissive and not your stereotypical Pit Bull. He loves cuddles, playing, does not like the mud on his paws, does not like walking on rocks, but most of all, so friendly! He loves to follow Roxy around and do what she does. He loves to be near her and makes sure she is in his sights. He gets a little anxious with new people and dogs but gets warmed up to them fast! Hope he comes around again soon! We would love to watch you again in the future Wilbur!!
Spark
Spark is a hound, shepherd, heeler mix. Her owners were worried about her nipping and her high drive for chasing small prey, but while staying with us, Spark had the most fun! She was very comfortable at our place and therefore made the experience for her even better. She would even cuddle with the cats! She was weary the first night but warmed up to Whiskey and Roxy very fast and learned a lot from them. She loves to cuddle and always be next to you. Spark has a high energy drive so we would play in the yard often to get her exercise and mental stimulation going. She was so tired at the end of the day and comfortable with everyone, she did not care for nipping or chasing after the cats. It was great boarding her!
Kudo
Kudo is a year and a half old German Shepherd. She loves to play ball in the yard and loves her walks. Although she is not completely sure about other dogs, she is definitely a love bug to humans. She gets very excited with people and knows commands such as "side" and "park" where she goes between our legs. She can sprint as fast as a cheetah it seems like at times and she can jump almost as high as a kangaroo! She is a very outgoing kind of dog. She will not rest until all her energy is drained. She is still a puppy but is doing very well with learning right from wrong. Kudo is such a great dog and we look forward to watching her again in the future!
Bella
When Bella first came to us, she was jumping around, curious about everything, would pull on the leash, and not go potty on command for her owners. We worked with her patiently with PAWsitive reinforcement training. She learned a lot from Whiskey and Roxy. She started to know where her designated place was when people would come in so she would not jump up on them and make them fall over. She learned off very fast and was able to get use to the cats very fast. She would follow Roxy around like Roxy was her mother and would do everything Roxy did. Bella would love to put her paw on our hands to let us know she would like attention. She loved to cuddle and play ball all at the same time! Bella loves to lean up against our legs while getting pets for PAWsitive reinforcement. She would love to cuddle with Roxy whenever she got the chance. She went home a happy pup!
Maxx
Maxx is an old soul. He is a German Shepherd mix and just loves to bathe in the sun. Maxx loves his own space and to relax by himself but does like Whiskey's company if he comes to lay next to him. Maxx loves people and cats too. He is curious about cats but will not chase them when they come up to him. He gets nervous around eating time so Whiskey and Roxy eat by him and he then feels comfortable enough to eat. Maxx may be older but when Whiskey wants to play, he acts like a puppy again, gallivanting around the yard. Such a great dog!
Murphy
Murphy is a shepherd husky mix. He needs a lot of exercise to fulfill his mental and physical stimulation. He goes to doggie day care and comes here to relax and stay for a couple nights. He is not a fan of men with beards and hats but slowly warming up to them. Murphy loves to talk, such as a husky does but as soon as he starts to play ball or play with Whiskey, he is a happy camper and plays nicely. Whiskey and Roxy love to run with him in the yard. He is a little restless while sleeping but Whiskey always checks in on him and is able to relax Murphy and calm him so he sleeps easier at night. Murphy loves to stay with us and we cannot wait till he does again!
Duchess
Even though Duchess is a big Great Dane, she is only a puppy! She loves to play and loves to be in our personal space. She knows her basic obedience commands and knows when to relax when she needs to. Duchess is a load of energy but also loves to relax next to you and watch movies. She loves Ice Age and the cartoons on the TV. She is a gentle giant when it comes to Roxy and cats. She knows better to play too rough because of her size. She may not know where her crazy tail lands but she knows how big she is and tries to be careful if she can help it. Her deep bark is intimidating but she is a wonderful dog to watch!
Ellie
When Ellie came to do a meet and greet, she was nervous to meet everyone but warmed up quickly. When she was dropped off, Ellie was nervous and did not know what to expect. She would not come into the bedroom or go near Whiskey and Roxy. She would growl a little when she heard unfamiliar noises but she eventually relaxed. Whiskey and Roxy were patient with her and she eventually warmed up to them. Ellie got more comfortable later and was able to show her true colors! She was friendly and playful. She would come up to us when she wanted attention or treats but mind her own when everyone was relaxing. She was able to hang out with Whiskey and Roxy whom made her feel more comfortable and more at home.
Chauncey
Chauncey is a doodle and is a high energy puppy. He loves to play with Roxy and they take turns chasing each other. Chauncey does not realize how big he is and tries to go where Roxy goes. He Has a lot of spunk and attitude, but knows when to listen if he is told to do something. He loves to play with Whiskey and they get along great. He teaches Whiskey to be a puppy again and brings Roxy's confidence up. His floppy ears gets into his bowl when he eats which is so adorable! He has a strict healthy diet which is great for him to grow up healthy and strong!
Ripley
Ripley was the runt of her litter but she has such a big heart. She is skiddish at first but warmed up quickly to Whiskey and Roxy. They showed her the ways of the house and she was very accepting of them. She warmed up to us gradually, but once she did, she was such a sweet baby. She just needed someone she could trust. Ripley is a husky but not your average husky. She is calm, friendly and loves to just lounge around. She is coming back soon and we cannot wait to see her again!
Brooks
Brooks is an older man like Whiskey. He has such a calm demeanor but once the treats come out, he's a happy 1 year old puppy again. Brooks loves to snuggle and relax in the sun. He does not mind the cats but they sure do love him and love to hang out with him. He is so kind and gentle with everyone and won't chew up a single toy. He is happy to be around Whiskey and share nap time together. We smother him with snuggles and love and he does not mind it at all. Can't wait to watch him again!
Betty
Betty is a corgi, beagle, terrier mix. She loves to run around and play with Roxy and Whiskey. Betty's favorite part of the day though is when everyone is relaxed and she can get all the attention and belly rubs. She loves to hang with the cats but most especially loves to cuddle with Roxy. Betty is a sweet girl who walks around like an English Bulldog with her big shoulders. She can run faster than you can throw the ball and absolutely loves kids. Betty has stayed with us multiple times and has enjoyed every time she does stay. When she knows she is going to stay, she greets herself to Whiskey and Roxy at the door and lets herself in like she owns the place. She is such a friendly dog and wouldn't hurt a fly. We love having her over!
Cocoa
Cocoa is a chocolate lab that just loves everyone and everything. She is all love and not a mean bone in her body. She loves to play with Whiskey and Roxy and they all take turns chasing the balls and each other. After dinner, she plops her body right next to you and just enjoys your company. She is your every day lab that just loves attention. She is strong when it comes to walks and when she accidentally steps on your feet, but she is so gentle when playing with the cats and Roxy.
Tuca & Abbey
Tuca and Abbey are a great pair. They were both skiddish at first but Tuca warmed up to us very vast and that led Abbey to warm up to us soon after. Treats were helpful in the warm up process. Tuca loved to hang out with Roxy and play while Abbey loved to hang out with Whiskey and relax. They both are love bugs and just want all the attention they can have when they get comfortable in a new setting. It was so much fun to have them both around and they each had their own friend to make them more at ease at their own seperate paces.
Adeline & Sierra
Adeline and Sierra are sisters and they are so attached to each other. Adeline loves to run around and play while Sierra loves to watch her and makes sure Adeline is safe and comfortable. They both have great personalities and yet they are so perfect in their own ways! Sierra will stay by us and relax with Roxy while Adeline will play with Whiskey in the yard. They are so fun!
Bernie
Even though we just had Bernie for a few hours for a couple days, he is such an adorable fun puppy to be around! He climbs on us to be near our faces, he loves to play and follow Whiskey and Roxy around like he is trying to learn from them and yet he is such a mature pup for his age. So smart and just loves the company!
Bowie, Moxxi & Romy
Bowie and Moxxi are like adorable little cotton balls. They love to chase Whiskey and Roxy around. They love to play wrestle with Roxy and after a full day of playing, they like to snuggle up to your face and sleep soundly. They are not your average Pomeranians! Hardly bark, potty trained on a potty pad, love cuddles; they are just the best! Their little bodies do not make up for how large their ambitions are! They just got another sibling named Romy and he is just the spunk they all need! Romy is shy but does like to follow in his sister's and brother's footsteps and always checks with them to make sure the coast is clear!
Scout & Argo
Although it was just a short visit to check in, Scout and Argo are such a fun duo! Scout is still a puppy and makes puppy accidents but how can you stay mad at such a cute face and a fluff ball of adorableness! He is so full of spunk and always has energy, just like how a puppy should! Argo is such a good big sister. She teaches Scout right from wrong and you can tell they connect on such a high level. Even though Scout is a high energy puppy, Argo does not mind and loves to play around with Scout. It's so fun to watch them play and join in on the fun! They love to play tug-of-war and chase the balls around, but of course, Argo loves to give the ball to Scout and they love to take turns chasing the ball. They know that siblings can be tough, but having one is the best!
Aumlette & Kevin
Kevin and Aumlette are a fun bunch. Kevin is a friendly golden retriever that loves to play and cuddle. He has the energy of a toddler but can be calm and is such a cuddle bug. Aumlette is a shy puppy and has her guard up when you first meet her but she warms up to people she trusts. She is such a friendly puppy when she lets you into her circle. They share beds when they want to with one another. Kevin loves to be center of attention and knows Aummie loves attention too so he knows when to take turns letting a human give them each love. They even each other out with Aummie being relaxed and Kevin being hyper, but they can feed off one another. When Aummie is comfortable with you and once Kevin has played for a couple hours, they switch roles! Kevin ends up being the calm one and Aummie loves to play with her frisbee! We cannot wait to sit them again!
Freya, aka "Bat"
Freya is a german shepherd who loves Whiskey and loves to play with us. She is such a sweet girl and can loves to talk. She loves to speak her mind and will do anything to get your attention. Freya is a great guard dog but has such a kind heart. She is friends with everyone and always so excited when she gets dropped off! She loves the snow and hates to come inside when it snows. She follows Whiskey around like she has a little crush! She loves to chase wildlife, but knows when it is time to focus and be serious too! Freya is one of those girls who loves to be pampered but she will also tell you she can do the boy's job all on her own! She's very independent, but also loves attention only when she asks for it. Freya can run faster than Whiskey when chasing tennis balls, but is so kind so let him grab it and bring it back and play for a little. She is an adorable little "Bat!"
